L'Oréal Dermo Expertise Refinish Micro Dermabrasion Kit Review
L'Oréal Dermo Expertise Refinish Micro Dermabrasion Kit Review:
Although there are conflicting opinions online, my personal experience with the L'Oréal Dermo Expertise Refinish Micro Dermabrasion Kits were 100% positive. After spending a fortune on a facelift and then following it with several professional microdermabrasions, I had become picky about taking care of my new investment. I didn’t want to spend a great deal of money maintaining my new face. I tried several products on the market then (about six years ago) and the L’Oreal one came the closest to what I had experienced in the beautician’s office.
But of course, eventually every manufacturer discontinues my favorite products. I used to buy this kit from my local CVS, Walgreens, or Kroger supermarket. I hadn’t been able to find it now for several years except on ebay. Finally, I started trying other similar brands from those stores but the breakouts returned to my face.
When I went back to my beautician she admonished me for not adequately cleaning my pores. You see, the L’Oreal product had such fine and dense grains in their exfoliant as compared with regular facial scrubs. I almost never had a blemish with the L’Oreal. I eventually replaced the scrubbing part of my treatment with Johnson & Johnson’s “Clean & Clear” Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub. (I still have some of the L’Oreal Post-Protective Moisturizer left.)
The result has been comparable to what I was used to with the L'Oréal Dermo Expertise Refinish Micro Dermabrasion Kit, but for at least half the price. One review online had alluded to the L'Oréal Dermo Expertise Refinish Micro Dermabrasion Kit as being a glorified facial scrub and nothing like a real microdermabrasion. Now that I have essentially replaced my L’Oreal product with an inexpensive facial scrub, I see the wisdom in their remarks. I'm not looking to replace my old L'Oreal product with one from the same company. I’m going shopping for a new skin care regime.
