Symptoms of Osteoporosis

So what are the symptoms of osteoporosis? Unlike other diseases which have symptoms like tiredness, dizziness, headaches, and other warning signs. The only symptoms are brittle and thin bones which can go undetected for years and even decades. Striking at any time and causing broken bones and extreme pain.

This can happen walking down the street and just stepping off a curb wrong!

This can cause such falling injuries where the hip is broken and %30 of those that do break their die indirectly within a year after the accident happens.

In the late stages, the symptoms of osteoporosis can also cause stress fractures in your vertebra causing chronic back pain and discomfort and a humped appearance.

Safe to say you do not want to get even the symptoms of Osteoporosis!

So What Are Some Osteoporosis Causes?

Osteoporosis causes include lack of Calcium but more then just that it is caused by a lack of Calcium integration but more on that later.

Other causes include:

  • Lack of proper nutrition
  • Low estrogen levels in women (During menopause is a very dangerous time for women and this is the main time you should look into )
  • Smoking
  • Long term use of several prescription drugs (Most prescription drugs affect our mineral intake to some extent)
  • Drinking a lot of alcohol
  • Use of Birth control pills

So what did I mean by Calcium Integration?

Calcium integration is the most important part when it comes to preventing Osteoporosis. See we here in America drink more milk per person than any other nation in the world but why do we have one of the highest levels of Osteoporosis then?

Lack of Calcium integration that is why!

Calcium needs other vitamins to be accepted and added into our bone structure! Particularly Vitamin D, but other trace minerals including Vitamin K, Magnesium and Zinc.

What is a Natural Osteoporosis Treatment?

There are many natural things you can do now to avoid osteoporosis.

They include:

  • Take a calcium or multivitamin high in Vitamin D, K and magnesium, and zinc
  • Avoid salt (Sodium), high amounts of sugar, and processed food
